“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. – Gandhi
You can have a wonderful and enriching experience as a mentor to a child with special needs.
You will watch tiny miracles happen every day and you will have the satisfaction of knowing you helped.
You will be inspired, challenged and delighted as you help your special child make friends, learn new skills and make the most of all their talents and abilities.
And you will be appreciated, by your child, their families and our teachers and staff.
You will go home tired and exhilarated knowing you made a difference.

Our volunteers work directly with children with special needs, providing 1:1 support according to each child’s individual program plan. Over the course of the year, volunteers receive ongoing training and supervision from our highly qualified staff, as well as valuable experience in a unique classroom setting. Our volunteers are a vital part of our organization and make the work we do possible!
Volunteers commit to a minimum of one shift per week either in our morning OR our afternoon program which runs from 9:00-11:45 AM and 1:00-3:45 PM.
