Student Placements

Centennial provides training opportunities for students in both the Preschool and Early Intervention programs. Students from universities, community colleges and high school co-op programs do their practical field experiences with us.

They are a welcome addition to our program and benefit from the experiences they receive during their time at Centennial.

Medical Students

We are part of the Community Program of the University of Toronto's Faculty of Medicine. First-year medical students come to Centennial for an intensive look at programs for children who have special needs. In addition, doctors who are training to be pediatricians spend a half-day at the Centre, where they see practical applications of child-development theory and learn to appreciate the problems faced by the parents of children who have special needs.
