Board of Directors

Centennial Infant and Child Centre is a non-profit corporation run by a Board of Directors. The Board consists of individuals from the community, two of whom are parent representatives.

Individuals are elected by members of the Centennial community and serve an annual term, renewable for up to six consecutive terms.

The Board meets approximately ten times a year to make decisions and provide direction to the operation of the Centre. The Board is representative of the various groups involved with Centennial and supports the philosophy that makes Centennial unique.

Chairperson - David Naiman
David is a Portfolio Manager OPTrust Private Markets Group focused on infrastructure and private equity investments in North America.  David lives in Toronto with his wife and three children.  His son, Matthew, attended Centennial's preschool program.

Secretary - Jean Holm
Jean has served Centennial Infant and Child Centre for more than 20 years as a volunteer in the preschool program, working one-on-one with the children on Friday mornings.  Jean has also worked for many years in IT in the financial services sector including a long career at Toronto-Dominion Bank Financial Group, followed by her current role as a Process Improvement Specialist at the Bank of Montreal.

Director - Alexandra Landsberg
Alexandra Landsberg is a mother of 2 young boys and a strong advocate for children with special needs.  Her son, Sam, attended Centennial for 4 years where he learned so many important life skills.  Alexandra was and continues to be very grateful to Centennial for everything that they have done for Sam and her family and wanted to giveback.  She therefore is an active member as a Director of the Foundation and Centre Boards.   

Director - Jen Watson
Jen Watson is a Project Engineer at Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd.  As a structural engineer, Jen works on projects across Southern Ontario ranging from hospitals to schools to community centres.  Currently completing an executive MBA at Queen's University, Jen expects to graduate in May 2012.  Jen was an integrated student in the preschool at Centennial many years ago and is honoured to now be a Director for the Board of the Centre's Board. 

Director - Terri O'Brien
Terri recently joined the Centennial Infant and Child Centre Board and is a Vice President in Risk Management for TD Bank Group.  She brings to the Board over 16 years experience in Financial Services and is a mother to four young children.  Terri is very active in her community with a number of charitable organizations supporting children's health and welfare and has previously served on other not-for-profit Boards as well.
