1ST ANNUAL CURLING FUNDRAISER A GREAT SUCCESS

CICC's  Inaugural Curling Fundraiser took place on January 30th at the Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club, with an enthusiastic new and experienced group of 80 curlers taking to ice with 20 more joining us for a scrumptious dinner.  It was so wonderful to see so many new curlers willing to try out a new sport to benefit Centennial.  Everyone embraced the Olympic theme by dressing to represent their assigned countries  and the friendship was palpable on and off the ice.   A wonderful raffle was held along with a fabulous live auction. Thanks to so many generous donors.  A new fund-raising event has been born for Centennial and plans are already underway for next years event.  HOLD THE DATE - Saturday, January 29th, 2011!

AN OLYMPIC TORCHBEARER HONORS CENTENNIAL

On December 18th at 10:30am, John will run in aurora (15570 to 15699 Yonge Street - Arch Plaza north of Wellington). John wants to share his Olympic opportunity with Centennial and you are invited to make a donation to Centennial in John's honor. You can contribute online - click "make a donation" on the website home page, or by email to cgates@cicc.ca. We are very appreciative of John's support for Centennial's programs.
